Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for cross functional communications and managing resources including; Customer Service, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Legal & sales, in support of the products. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing operational reporting product(s) within the targeted portfolio within a specific market segment.
The successful candidate will be dealing with real-time and data warehouse based reporting and should have a background that includes deep understanding of the best practices for this undertaking. The successful candidate will need to understand the concepts of a reporting lifecycle and contemporary concepts for building data center systems. The successful candidate should have a background in data mining and reporting on IT asset deployment, data center operations and facilities and resource consumption.
The successful candidate will have at least three to five years with an IT solutions provider or in data center services as a Product Manager and will have built the requirements for data center operational reporting solutions. The successful candidate has the ability to develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs, the product and the competitive landscape. The successful candidate has excellent problem-solving skills and is a strategic thinker as well as having a strong work ethic. The successful candidate is analytical and pays attention to detail and results. The successful candidate is a highly motivated self-starter. The successful candidate has the confidence and knowledge to successfully manage, develop and own the product. The successful candidate will be skilled in working across departments to collaborate with User Groups, Business Managers, Operations and QA, Systems Architects, Engineering Delivery Teams, Project Managers. The successful candidate is an excellent communicator and builds strong cross functional relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have product management experience and understanding of the software development cycle is essential to the successful development of requirements and products.
